LEGAL

Terms & Conditions

Last Updated: 18 August 2026

The following Terms and Conditions contain legal information regarding your rights under UK regulations on distance selling and electronic commerce, including the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

01

Scope of Application

For the business relationship between:

TG General Trading LTD trading as Taha Gold

Company Number: 14381970

Unit 23, Leeway Industrial Estate

Newport, Gwent

United Kingdom, NP19 4SL

(hereinafter referred to as the “Seller”)

and third parties (consumers / business customers), only the following Terms and Conditions in their version valid at the time of the order shall apply.

A consumer within the meaning of these Terms and Conditions is any individual acting for purposes that are wholly or mainly outside their trade, business, craft, or profession (in accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015).

A business customer (or merchant) is anyone acting for purposes relating to their trade, business, craft, or profession, whether acting personally or through another person acting in the trader’s name or on the trader’s behalf.

Hereinafter, consumers and business customers will be referred to collectively as “customers”. If a specific designation or reference to the different customers (i.e., consumers or business customers) is necessary, this will be indicated accordingly.

Deviating conditions of the customer will not be recognised unless the Seller expressly agrees to their validity in writing. Unilateral and bilateral commercial transactions are exclusively carried out or accepted on the basis of the Terms and Conditions described here.

Your agreement to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions is deemed to occur upon your first use of this website. If you do not agree to be bound by them, you should stop using the website immediately.

02

Offers and Service Descriptions

The presentation of products in the Taha Gold online shop does not constitute a legally binding offer, but rather an invitation to treat (an invitation to place an order). Service descriptions in catalogues and on the Seller’s websites do not have the character of an absolute assurance or guarantee.

Every effort is made to ensure that photographs, finishes, and descriptions correspond to the actual goods. Because our hardware is finished by hand, minor variations in plating tone, grain, and glass colour are normal and are not defects. Colours may also display differently from one screen to another. This does not limit our liability for supplying goods that are not as described.

Where relevant, you may be required to select the size, colour, model, or other feature of the goods you are purchasing before adding them to your basket.

03

Ordering Process and Conclusion of Contract

You may place goods in the shopping basket without obligation and amend its contents at any time before submitting a binding order. Before submitting, you can review the entire order on the checkout page and correct any input errors using the browser’s back function or by editing the basket.

By clicking the order button at the end of the checkout process, you submit a binding contractual offer to purchase the goods in your basket.

  • ◆

Acknowledgement: We will confirm receipt of your order by email without undue delay. This acknowledgement records that your order has reached us; it does not constitute acceptance of your offer.

  • ◆

Acceptance: The contract is concluded when we send you a separate dispatch confirmation, or when the goods are handed to the carrier, whichever occurs first.

  • ◆

Refusal: We may decline or cancel an order before dispatch, for example where goods are unavailable, where an obvious pricing or description error has occurred, where age or address verification fails, where the delivery destination is restricted, or where we reasonably suspect fraud. Any payment already taken will be refunded in full.

Orders may be placed only in English, and only by persons aged 18 or over (see Section 8).

04

Prices and Shipping Costs

All prices shown on the website are in pounds sterling (GBP) and, for consumer sales, include UK VAT at the applicable rate where VAT is chargeable. Prices quoted to business and wholesale customers may be stated exclusive of VAT, in which case this is indicated clearly at the point of quotation.

Prices are exclusive of delivery charges unless expressly stated otherwise. Delivery charges depend on the destination, weight, and service selected, and are displayed separately in the basket and again on the checkout summary before you submit your order. No charge is applied that has not been shown to you beforehand.

The price applicable to your order is the price displayed at the time your order is submitted. We may change prices, and alter or withdraw special offers, at any time before an order is placed. If a price changes between your order being placed and being processed, we will contact you before processing and you may confirm the order at the new price or cancel it for a full refund.

In the event of an obvious error, for instance a price displayed at a small fraction of its correct value, we are not obliged to supply the goods at that price and will contact you with the correct price before proceeding.

International orders: where goods are shipped outside the United Kingdom, import duties, taxes, and customs clearance fees may be levied once the consignment reaches its destination. These charges are payable by you and are not included in our prices; we make no calculation or estimate of them. As the purchaser you are the importer of record and are responsible for ensuring that the goods may lawfully be imported into the destination country. Goods may be opened and inspected by customs authorities, and we cannot guarantee that packaging will arrive free of signs of inspection.

05

Delivery, Shipping and Availability of Goods

Goods are dispatched from our premises at Unit 23, Leeway Industrial Estate, Newport, Gwent, NP19 4SL.

All orders are shipped using Royal Mail unless a different carrier is agreed with you in writing (for example on pallet or wholesale consignments, or where a consignment exceeds Royal Mail’s 20kg parcel limit). Royal Mail handles both our UK and international deliveries; international consignments are passed to the destination country’s own postal operator for final-mile delivery.

  • ◆

Dispatch: In-stock orders placed and paid for before the working-day cut-off are normally dispatched the same working day; orders placed after the cut-off, at weekends, or on public holidays are dispatched on the next working day.

  • ◆

UK delivery: Standard UK orders travel on a Royal Mail Tracked 48 service (typically two to three working days from dispatch). Royal Mail Tracked 24 and Special Delivery Guaranteed by 1pm are available at checkout. Royal Mail charges one price for the whole of the United Kingdom, so no surcharge applies to the Scottish Highlands and Islands, Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man, the Channel Islands or the Isles of Scilly, though delivery to those areas can take longer.

  • ◆

International delivery: International orders travel on a Royal Mail International Tracked or International Standard service. Transit times vary by destination and exclude time spent in customs clearance, over which neither we nor the carrier has control.

  • ◆

Tracking: A tracking number is sent to you by email when your consignment is handed to Royal Mail, together with estimated delivery times and details of any known delay.

  • ◆

Signature and age check: Consignments are sent on a tracked basis, and on a signed-for basis where a Special Delivery service is used. Where an order contains age-restricted goods we add Royal Mail’s Age Verification service, under which the item is handed only to a person aged 18 or over, who may be asked for photographic identification.

Delivery times quoted on the website are estimates given in good faith and are not guaranteed unless a guaranteed service has been purchased. Unless otherwise agreed with you, we will deliver the goods within 30 days of the day the contract is concluded, in accordance with the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. If we cannot meet an agreed or essential delivery date, you may treat the contract as at an end and receive a full refund.

Availability: stock indications on the website may not account for sales concluded during your visit. If goods you have ordered are unavailable, we will inform you without undue delay and refund any sum already paid for those goods. Where an order contains several items we may deliver them separately at no extra cost to you; you will not be charged twice for delivery.

Risk and title: for consumers, risk in the goods passes to you when you, or a person you have nominated, take physical possession of them. Where you arrange your own carrier rather than accepting ours, risk passes when the goods are handed to that carrier. For business customers, risk passes when the goods are handed to Royal Mail or another carrier at our premises. Title in the goods passes in accordance with Section 7.

Failed delivery: please ensure the delivery address supplied is complete and correct, and that someone is available to sign. Where delivery fails because the address was incorrect, the consignment was not collected from a depot within the carrier’s holding period, or delivery was refused, the goods will be returned to us and we may recharge the cost of the failed delivery and any redelivery.

Damage or shortage in transit: where damage is visible on delivery, please note this on the carrier’s delivery record if you are able to. Please report any damage, shortage, or non-delivery to us as soon as you reasonably can, and in any event within 14 days of delivery or of the expected delivery date, so that we can raise a claim with Royal Mail within their time limits. Reporting late does not affect your statutory rights, but it may make a carrier claim impossible.

Full details of services, cut-off times, charges, and restricted destinations are set out in our Shipping & Delivery Policy, which forms part of these Terms and Conditions.

06

Payment Terms

The payment methods available to you are shown at checkout before you submit your order. Unless expressly agreed otherwise, payment is due in full at the time the order is placed, and goods are dispatched only once payment has cleared.

Card payments are processed by regulated third-party payment providers. We do not receive or store raw card details on our own servers; the handling of your payment data is described in our Privacy Policy.

If a payment is declined, reversed, charged back, or otherwise fails after an order has been accepted, we may suspend or cancel the order and withhold dispatch until payment is received. You must inform us immediately if you believe a payment has been made from your account without your authority.

Business customers: no credit account or payment terms are granted unless agreed by us in writing. Where credit terms have been agreed, invoices are payable within the agreed period, and we reserve the right to charge statutory interest and compensation on overdue sums under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998. Set-off against sums due to us is not permitted unless agreed in writing.

07

Retention of Title

The goods remain the property of the Seller until payment has been received in full and has cleared. The passing of risk under Section 5 is not affected by this retention of title.

Business customers: until title passes, you must store the goods in a way that allows them to be identified as our property, must not pledge them or grant security over them, and must tell us immediately if they become subject to any third party’s claim. We may require the return of goods for which payment has not been received in full and, on reasonable notice, enter premises where they are held in order to recover them.

08

Age Restriction and Responsible Use

This website and the goods sold through it are intended for adults only. By placing an order you confirm that you are aged 18 or over and that any payment details you use are yours or are used with the permission of their adult holder.

  • ◆

Verification on entry: Visitors are asked to confirm their age before browsing. Confirming falsely is a breach of these Terms and Conditions.

  • ◆

Verification on delivery: We operate a Challenge 25 approach. Royal Mail may request photographic identification on delivery of age-restricted goods, and may refuse to hand them over where age cannot be established.

  • ◆

Cancellation: Where we cannot reasonably satisfy ourselves that a customer is 18 or over, we may cancel the order before dispatch and refund it in full.

  • ◆

Proxy purchasing: Goods must not be purchased on behalf of, supplied to, or resold to any person under the age of 18.

Goods must be used only for their intended purpose and in accordance with any instructions and safety information supplied with them. Charcoal and heat-management products produce carbon monoxide in use and must only be lit and used in a well-ventilated space. Nothing on this website constitutes health, safety, or other professional advice, and no part of it should be relied upon in making decisions of any kind.

You are responsible for ensuring that the goods you order may lawfully be purchased, imported, and used in your country of residence and in the country of delivery.

09

Warranty for Defects and Guarantee

Consumers: your legal rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 apply in full. Goods supplied to you must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described. Where they are not:

  • ◆

Within 30 days: You have the short-term right to reject faulty goods and receive a full refund.

  • ◆

Within 6 months: You may require a repair or replacement. If that is impossible, disproportionate, or not carried out within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience, you may claim a price reduction or reject the goods. A fault appearing within the first six months is presumed to have been present at delivery unless we can show otherwise.

  • ◆

After 6 months: You keep the right to a repair, replacement, price reduction, or final rejection where you can show that the fault was present at delivery. Claims may generally be brought for up to six years from delivery in England and Wales, and five years from discovery in Scotland.

Where a product is supplied with a manufacturer’s guarantee, or with a Taha Gold guarantee such as the lifetime guarantee offered on selected hardware, the terms of that guarantee apply in addition to your statutory rights and do not replace or limit them. Guarantees cover manufacturing defects only.

No guarantee or warranty applies to fair wear and tear; to damage caused by accident, misuse, neglect, or unauthorised modification or repair; to failure to follow care or assembly instructions; to the natural patination or discolouration of plated and metal finishes over time; to breakage of glass components after delivery; or to consumables and perishable items such as charcoal, molasses, hoses, seals, foils, and mouthpieces.

Business customers: you must inspect the goods on receipt and notify us in writing of any shortage, damage, or obvious defect within 7 days of delivery, and of any latent defect within 7 days of its discovery. Our liability is limited, at our option, to repairing or replacing the defective goods or refunding their price. Statutory rights that cannot be excluded in business-to-business sales are unaffected.

10

Returns and Refunds

We aim to supply goods that arrive complete, undamaged, and fault free. Where that has not happened, or where you have simply changed your mind, returns are handled as set out below. Your statutory right to cancel is described separately in Section 17.

  • ◆

Faulty or incorrect goods: Contact us and we will arrange collection or provide a prepaid return label. We pay the cost of returning faulty, damaged, or incorrectly supplied goods, and refund or replace them once they are received.

  • ◆

Change of mind: Goods may be returned within the 14-day cancellation period provided they are complete, unused, and in a resaleable condition with all packaging and documentation. You pay the direct cost of return unless we agree otherwise.

  • ◆

Condition: You may handle goods as you would in a shop. Where handling goes beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics, and functioning, we may deduct an amount reflecting the reduction in their value.

  • ◆

Refund method and timing: Refunds are made to the original payment method within 14 days of our receiving the goods back, or of your supplying evidence that they have been sent, whichever is earlier.

Goods that cannot be returned for change of mind: sealed goods that are not suitable for return once unsealed for health-protection or hygiene reasons (including hoses, mouthpieces, and any opened tins or pouches of molasses or charcoal), and goods made or personalised to your specification. This exclusion does not apply where goods are faulty, damaged, or not as described.

Returns must be sent to our premises at Unit 23, Leeway Industrial Estate, Newport, Gwent, NP19 4SL. Please contact us at info@tahagold.co.uk before returning anything so that we can issue a returns reference and, where applicable, arrange collection.

Business customers: goods correctly supplied against a business order may be returned only with our prior written agreement, and a restocking charge may apply.

11

Liability

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, for defective products under the Consumer Protection Act 1987, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including the statutory rights of consumers under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Consumers: we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking this contract or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss or damage that is not foreseeable, nor for loss arising from your use of the goods for any business purpose.

Business customers: subject to the paragraph above, our total liability arising out of or in connection with a contract is limited to the price paid for the goods concerned, and we accept no liability for loss of profit, loss of business, depletion of goodwill, or any indirect or consequential loss.

Neither party is liable for a failure to perform caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including carrier or network failure, industrial action, adverse weather, customs delays, power failure, natural events, acts of war, or legal restrictions. Where such an event materially delays an order you may cancel it and receive a full refund of sums paid for undelivered goods.

The website is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We give no warranty that it will be uninterrupted, error free, compatible with all systems, or that all information on it is accurate, and we accept no liability for disruption or non-availability resulting from external causes. This does not affect our obligations in relation to goods you have purchased.

12

Website Use and Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, icons, photographs, video, page layout, underlying code, and software, is the property of TG General Trading LTD, our affiliates, or other relevant third parties, and is protected by United Kingdom and international intellectual property law. Product images and descriptions supplied by manufacturers remain the property of those manufacturers or their distributors.

You may not reproduce, copy, distribute, store, or otherwise re-use material from this website without our express written permission, except where an exception under Chapter III of the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 applies. Links may be made to our home page without prior permission; links to specific internal pages require our permission.

When using our enquiry forms, account facilities, newsletter, or any other communication system on the website, you must not submit content that is unlawful, abusive, threatening, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable; must not impersonate any other person, including our staff; and must not use our systems for unsolicited mass communication. Please write in English so that we are able to reply. We reserve the right to monitor communications made through our systems and to suspend or close any account used in breach of this section.

Where you create an account, you warrant that the information you submit is accurate and kept up to date, and that you have permission to use any payment details supplied. You should keep your credentials confidential; we accept no liability for losses arising from account details you have shared. If you believe your account has been accessed without your authority, contact us immediately so that we can suspend it and cancel any pending orders. Orders can only be cancelled up to the point of dispatch.

This website may contain links to third-party sites that are not under our control. We accept no responsibility for their content, and the inclusion of a link does not imply endorsement.

13

Storage of the Contract Text

We store the text of your contract, covering the order details, the delivery and billing addresses, and the Terms and Conditions in force at the time. We also send you the order confirmation and dispatch confirmation by email. Where you hold an account, your order history remains available to you after signing in.

These Terms and Conditions can be viewed on this page at any time and printed or saved using your browser. We recommend that you retain a copy of the order confirmation for your records.

14

Data Protection

We process personal data in accordance with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. Personal data collected in the course of an order, including your name, contact details, and delivery address, is processed in order to perform the contract, and is shared with Royal Mail and our payment providers only to the extent necessary to deliver your order and take payment for it.

How we collect, use, disclose, and retain personal information, and the rights available to you, including access, correction, erasure, portability, objection, and withdrawal of consent, are described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms and Conditions by reference. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at www.ico.org.uk.

15

Changes to These Terms and Conditions

We may change the website, its content, or these Terms and Conditions at any time. The version in force at the time you place an order governs that order; changes made afterwards do not apply retrospectively to a concluded contract, unless we are required by law to make them, in which case they apply to pending orders as well.

In the event of any conflict between these Terms and Conditions and a previous version, these Terms and Conditions prevail unless expressly stated otherwise.

16

Place of Jurisdiction, Applicable Law, Contract Language

These Terms and Conditions and the relationship between you and TG General Trading LTD are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the United Kingdom or in the EEA, you keep the benefit of any mandatory consumer-protection provisions of the law of your country of residence.

Proceedings may be brought in the courts of England and Wales. A consumer may also bring proceedings in the courts of the part of the United Kingdom in which they live: consumers in Scotland may raise proceedings in the Scottish courts, and consumers in Northern Ireland in the Northern Irish courts. For business customers, the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.

The language of the contract is English. Most matters are resolved quickly and directly, so if you are unhappy with any aspect of your order, please contact us first at info@tahagold.co.uk.

All notices to us should be sent by email to info@tahagold.co.uk or by post to our premises. If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be unlawful, invalid, or unenforceable, that provision is severed and the remaining provisions continue in force. A failure by either party to exercise a right or remedy is not a waiver of that right or remedy.

17

Right of Withdrawal

This section applies to consumers only. It is provided under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 and is in addition to your other legal rights.

RIGHT TO CANCEL

You have the right to cancel this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The cancellation period expires 14 days from the day on which you, or a third party other than the carrier indicated by you, acquire physical possession of the goods. Where your order consists of several goods delivered separately, the period runs from the day the last of them is received.

To exercise the right to cancel, you must inform us of your decision by a clear statement: by email to info@tahagold.co.uk, by telephone on +44 7472 383548, or by post to TG General Trading LTD, Unit 23, Leeway Industrial Estate, Newport, Gwent, NP19 4SL. You may use the model cancellation form below, but you are not obliged to. To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient that you send your communication before the cancellation period expires.

EFFECTS OF CANCELLATION

If you cancel this contract, we will reimburse all payments received from you, including the cost of standard delivery. Where you chose a delivery service more expensive than our least expensive standard option, we are not required to refund the additional cost.

We will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and not later than 14 days after the day we receive the goods back or you supply evidence of having sent them, whichever is earlier. We will use the same means of payment you used for the original transaction, and you will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement.

You must send the goods back without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day you communicate your cancellation. You bear the direct cost of returning the goods, unless they are faulty, damaged, or not as described. You are liable only for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics, and functioning.

EXCEPTIONS

The right to cancel does not apply to sealed goods that are not suitable for return once unsealed for health-protection or hygiene reasons (including hoses, mouthpieces, and opened tins or pouches of molasses or charcoal), nor to goods made or personalised to your specification. It does not affect your rights where goods are faulty or not as described.
